While painting 16 pairs of shutters this weekend, I’ve lost a few million brain cells and ruined my comfiest pair of flip flops.
Uh-oh.
If my flip flops look like that, then what do my feet look like…
Your simple tip for Saturday, if you want to clean spray paint off skin QUICKLY and SAFELY:
you ready?
use OLIVE OIL!
Spread a bit of olive oil on the painted skin, scrub with an old washcloth, add a bit of soap, and rinse. Repeat a few times if you have to (I did).
After about eight minutes, I no longer looked like I just stepped out of a coal mine…
Also works when you somehow get paint inside your nose.
Don’t ask me how I know… lol

I can't wait to see the finished project! I didn't know how to get paint off skin…thanks for the tip. I do however, wear a mask when I spray paint, I don't like the thought of that paint being inhaled. If it gets in your nose, some probably gets to your lungs…Yuck!
Lol Oh my! That's some serious paint on your feet! Hahaha That's too funny. I don't think your flip flops are ruined, they're just getting a make-over! I figure, just spray them the rest of the way, and call them new. :D
I am SO glad I saw this today…been painting pumpkins this morning and my whole left hand has a nice metallic glow in fall colors. :) I'm definitely going to go try this one! Thanks :o)Missy

Why not throw some olive oil in a bit of sugar and give yourself a nice exfoliating sugar scrub while you're at it!?Sounds fun.
