The “big game” is fast approaching, and if your family is anything like mine, with it comes a big party with tons of yummy appetizers. (Forget the commercials, the food is the best part!) One of my favorites is Buffalo Ranch Wing Dip and while there’s many different ways to make it, I wanted to put my own twist on the recipe.
Before I headed out, I printed out a coupon for the Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids containers. I like to make the dip the night before and have everything ready to go. The glass is nice, because you can reheat right in the container.
The dip turned out awesome. I used a bit of Sriracha and ranch in addition to buffalo sauce for a punch of flavor.
The measurements below are for a medium heat dip, use more or less depending on how spicy you like things.
Buffalo Ranch Wing Dip (medium heat)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick of butter, melted
3 T buffalo hot sauce
2 T Sriracha hot sauce
1/4 cup ranch dressing
2 cups cheddar cheese
1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
Mix cream cheese, melted butter, buffalo sauce, Sriracha, and ranch together in a food processor or mixer until well combined. Pour into a bowl. Lightly stir in chicken breast and as much cheese as desired. Top dip with remaining cheese (and a bit of chicken for garnish if you’re a blogger).
Put away into a sealable Rubbermaid glass container, heat just before serving. Can be made and stored overnight.
The glass containers can go from the fridge to your car and you don’t have to worry about spills with the leak proof seal. Then when you get to the party, you can pop your dish into the oven for easy reheating!
My favorite part is that the Easy Find Lids stack underneath the container so that you don’t lose them at the party or in your cabinet.
When it’s time to go home, I can take the lids off the bottom (that I didn’t lose!), snap ‘em back on, and bring my delicious dip home. That’s the beauty of GLASS containers, you have to take ’em home. ;)
