  • During the summer the west side of our house is blanketed in a canopy of leaves. Our bedroom goes from light filled and cheery in the winter, to cozy and dark in the summer. (Swipe to see this picture straight out of the camera, no editing.)⁣ It’s the perfect escape for a summer nap, one-on-one time with a kid, or to wind down after a long day. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ In our last two homes, the master bedroom was left for last or not done at all.⁣⁣ It was a mix of decor that didn’t work elsewhere, or whatever I could find.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ This house it was one of the first rooms. We went with a bold wall, simple choices, so no need to fuss with decor. I’m here to tell you to go for it, wait on your kids rooms, shuffle stuff around the family room instead, and give your bedroom the love it deserves. That YOU deserve! 🙌🏼 It WILL become a dumping ground, it will still have laundry, and yes, time and money will always be a constraint. Even if you give it just a little bit of love and attention, you’ll be happy you went for it. 💕⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Do you agree?
