Inspired by a chandelier I saw at a garage sale, I decided to paint my similarly shaped oil-rubbed bronze chandelier white!
Take a look at our front (frunch) room! I’m giving it a makeover of my own…
Much improved from the last photo you saw of this room.
Embarrasing. Pitiful. Pshhhh, those slobs.
But forget I posted that and submitted it for the world to see (and lost 5 followers in the process), LOOK AT IT NOW!
All I did was a 5 min cleanup, switch out with my new C&B rug, and paint the chandelier. Oh snap, I love it.
$200-$450 bones for that sisal rug if you bought it. Mine for $20. No, I will never stop talking about this rug!!!
I also hung a white chandelier in the hallway to replace the one I so hastily took down. It was originally brass, I paid $3.50.
Excuse the dresser on its way out, as well as the peeling paint. This room is over due for a I-was-a-nerd-but-look-at-me-now (snap, snap, SNAP!) Maury style makeover. The chandelier is a step in the right direction… ya think?
Maybe it’s the nicer weather and increased sun (and Vit D) flowing through me, but I feel like I’ve had a burst of energy when it comes to tackling house projects. Maybe it’s now that I’m a little bit lighter without the added 47 bags of STUFF?
I feel like I’m back in business. And it feels so good.
Anyone else get that way?
So excited to paint trim, start projects. 🙂
