How’s it going so far? I’ve had a hard time this past week getting the motivation to start my bag for the day, BUT as soon as I start an area, I get a little boost of energy. It’s so nice to see progress!
This week I tackled the kids’ room. I went through Lily and Ben’s dressers, and Adam’s big drawer:
Here’s the top of their closet. The basket is where I put small clothes while putting away laundry, the other two are bins of the next size up, and the other two needed to go up in the attic. I moved em, and emptied the basket.
I got three large bags, plus a small bag of books! Lily’s clothes will go to my mother-in-law, Ben’s clothes will go in a bin for Adam, and Adam’s will go in a bin. I used one of our favorite books that was badly damaged and made it into wall art. Yay for hand-me-downs and reusing stuff!
Doug worked on his closet and got a bag for his brothers, and filled up the rest of my bag for Goodwill.
I got a little surprise the other day, a comment on a photo of our desk that I had posted in a local resale group! I needed to clear out this desk quickly!
yikes! but yay for a potential sell! This was the kick in the pants I needed.
Unfortunately, things got crazy and I put it in a bin to hurry up and take a picture for Fred. That is my job for today! Clear out this bin and shred old mail and paperwork.
This week’s total? 6 bags!
