-
paint the walls and above the cabinets a shade that is similar to the color of the tiles on the backsplash

I haven’t posted on our kitchen in a while, but doing so makes me so excited. I love the transformation and can’t believe the difference between the two!

i love your house, so cozy. The kitchen turned out great, love the refrigerator. Youre so lucky to be blessed with 4 children. How do you manage with just one bathroom?? If you stay in the house refinish attic and put another bathroom in the Master suite. Congratulations!

Hi Margaret! Well, we actually moved last October into a new home with one more bathroom. Although it's funny, everyone only wants to use the one bathroom!! 🙂 The plan was to finish the upstairs, but we thought we'd try to sell first and see what happened. The new owners were looking to downsize so the 2 bed/1 bath ended up being a plus for them!
And thank you for the sweet words! I'm working to make this home cozy as well and it's taking time. I'll take your words as encouragement to keep going. 🙂
Maggie
good luck to you and your wonderful family. I saw a few photos of your new house! Very nice!

Hello!
It looks great!
I have one small thing you might not have thought of -- in the space where the wall ovens were -- have you thought about putting up a shelf that would line up with the bottom of the lower hanging cabinets are? You could use that for your toaster oven to free up more counter space! 🙂
Just a thought!
