Deck the Walls with Lots of Pictures

    December 6, 2009 |

Since it snowed last night, my project for the day is to get pictures and stuff hanging on the walls. Although I may wait for Doug to come home to hang them for me so I can stand back and tell him what to do... lol. Why? I needed my trees to be snowy and they are! Read on...

Frames from my Goodwill, sprayed them ORB over the weekend (not my pregnant self, that's what my husband is for). The three on the left were white, lavender, and purple (hard to tell by the bad picture!) and $1.99 each. Not exactly my favorite frames, but they were the thickest wood frames I could find in a set of three and they'll do for now! What I'd like to do is take three photos of trees from my yard, edit them to my hearts desire using my favorite website, apply a little sepia, and print em. For the Christmas season/winter, which should be till March if you're familiar with our weather in the good ole Chicagoland area, I'd like pictures of snowy trees (see why I'm anxious to do this today??).

Pictures will go in the huge blank spot above my couch. Note the unfinished black table to your left (black on top, primer on bottom) and our Christmas tree with only six ornaments on it.

The two on the right are wood and were $2.99 each. Beautiful, thick and in a set of two, these will house some family pictures in our hallway. The walls there are plaster and waiting to be patched, primed, and painted, so I'll get these ready but they probably won't be hung any time soon.

Hi Lily! She likes her new spoons from St. Nick!. See the snow out the doors? 😀
