This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and Sharpie, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #StaplesSharpie http://cmp.ly/3/8vNxcO.
Lately I have been crushing on gold, hand drawn designs, and garlands. So I decided to put the three together and made a letter garland. I've attached a few printables to this post so that you can make one of your own! Use Sharpies to give the garland a hand-drawn, doodle feel.
First of all, go get some Sharpie markers. They're on sale at Staples right now, so stock up! $6 for 12 packs of color and $3.40 for metallic 4 packs! What a deal.
Supplies Needed
-Sharpie markers
-cardstock (I used 110 weight)
-free printable letters (at the bottom of this post)
-scissors
-embroidery floss or twine
-a needle
Take the printable and color in the letters like so. Pushing harder and going slow will make the ink darker, going fast will make it light! Mix it up to get more of a doodle look.
Cut the letters out and string onto some embroidery floss or baker's twine.
Once you string all of the letters, hang them up and enjoy!
While I was doodling, I took an old bulletin board and turned it into a Christmas card display! I used a Gold Metallic Sharpie to doodle on the frame and draw stars on the background of the cork board. I'm loving the doodle-y look!
And if you want to create your own, here are free printable letters to print, color, cut, and string!

Visit Staples this holiday season and purchase the 12 ct multi colored pack of Sharpies and the Sharpie Metallic Assorted 4-CT pack, as well as other Sharpie products they have on sale! I need to go back and get another 4 pack of Gold Metallic Sharpies before the sale ends!
Don't forget to check out Sharpie on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or my favorite, Pinterest for more ideas!
What would you create with some new Sharpies?

Love Sharpies, they work for so many things. The metallics are my fav, I've got piles of them at home.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday season!
