Hello, pumpkins!
Sorry for disappearing, we’ve been enjoying a few unseasonably warm days!
At the zoo with cousins,
at the pumpkin patch with friends,
replacing morning blogging with wagon rides,
and night blogging with bonfires. 🙂
Sweaters and jeans one day,
short sleeves and skirts the next…
that’s fall in Chicago for ya.
I’m not really doing Halloween this year, just decorating for fall
this way I can leave it all up until November! 😉
Since we were preparing to move last fall, I don’t have much in the way of decorations.
But that’s fine, I’ve shopped the house, used real pumpkins and squash, and sticks from around the yard.
and made my own with help from the dollar store!
We’ve been fall-ing all over the place,
here’s to apple cider, hoodies, and the start of lots of family gatherings!

Sometimes those little getaways can so refreshing! And I'd have to agree that fall in Chicago is pretty great.

I really like the black pumpkin. It adds some pop and pizazz with out being over the top.Your girls look adorable on the 'realistic' frog.

We have the same weather in Ohio - 90's last Friday, 60's on Saturday! I love the sweatshirt and apple cider time of year. Your autumn decorations are lovely and I am so happy you can enjoy fall with your adorable children.
Denise

I think your decorations are great!! I am envious of those sweaters and jeans...too warm here in Virginia. 🙂

Love it!, That is funny about the weather, and so true! Famous Chicago saying if you don't like weather stick around, it will change....Such a cute picture at the zoo, what were those two saying? LOL
