Homemade Ornament Exchange

November 15, 2011 |

We're simplifying and trying to make the Christmas season a bit more personal and homemade in our home, would you like to do the same? Want a chance to get creative, get crafty, put the kids to work, and have a little bit of creative Christmas fun together?

I'd like to hold a homemade ornament exchange this year. No limit or requirements for what you want to do. Just create an ornament, make it, and send it off to your exchange partner. Keep it simple or make it fancy. Sew, hot glue, glitter, be different, whatever!

I'd also like a copy of every ornament too, so if you don't mind making two, I'd love to make one and send it to you as well as a gift for participating.

If you have any other ideas or suggestions, please include them in the following survey! I’d love to get as many of my blog friends in on this as possible. I think it could be tons of fun to get little packages in the mail, share ideas in real-life, and make this year’s Christmas a bit more handmade. 🙂

thanks for reading our feed, please stop by the house for a visit sometime soon. 🙂

I was just wondering if names have been sent out yet? I didn't get one yet, but would love to participate.

I'm in the UK - can I join in or is it US only (I quite understand if it is - it would cost a lot more to send something overseas)?
