How to quickly Cut Pancakes

April 21, 2012 |

Yes, I guess you could use a fork or fork and knife. BUT!

there is a quick way to cut your stack of buttery, syrupy, and peanut buttery (if you’re like me) pancakes without everything getting all sloppy.

Use a pizza cutter!

Perfect for when they’re eating ‘em faster than you can cut ‘em. Which is pretty much all the time! 😉

This is how my mom always cut up pancakes, and now I do it too!

This made me smile! When we make pancakes my husband and I spend more time cutting up everyone's pancakes than we do eating them ourselves. We'll have to bring out the pizza cutter next time and the kids can do it themselves!

I just used my pizza cutter this morning for our pancakes and had to come back and tell you! 😉
So much easier, especially when the syrup is already all over the pancakes!

LOVE this idea. Exactly how Charlie eats them...faster than we can cut them!

Thanks, Ashley! Every other meal it's "eat your food. eat your food." With pancakes they eat SO fast! Maybe we need to figure out a way to make every meal into a pancake... 😉

We had pancakes for breakfast, too! Extra buttery for me! I have heard of the pizza cutter thing before, but had forgotten it. Wish you had posted this 3 1/2 hours ago. 😉

mmm, pancakes are the best! Well, now I guess you need to have them again, haha. We just got a waffle maker from Doug's grandma and it works REALLY well on that too. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
