Simple Tip: Peel a Bulb of Garlic in 10 Seconds

October 29, 2011 |

Garlic is sooo good. If I had to list the foods that I couldn't live without, they would probably be garlic, butter, eggs, and bacon. And salt. Tomatoes. And maybe steak and goat cheese.

But garlic is also so good for you! Did you know it's a natural antibiotic?

When we're sick and loading up or making food for a large crowd, we need a lot of garlic. The part I hate the most about using fresh garlic is the peeling, but Parents of a Dozen (Doug's parents) have it figured out! Check out how they peel a whole bulb of garlic in only 10 seconds. I can't wait to try this...

check out their blog at parentsofadozen.com, and let them know how brilliant this is!

and help me earn some brownie points with my in-laws! jk 😉

Can you give more details on garlic and how much you and your kids take? I've never heard this before.Mandy

I love it! I knew you could do this on individual cloves (by smashing them with a knife) but I never thought the whole bulb! Crazy. I love garlic. My husband once told me (in front of all of my in-laws) that I always smell like garlic because I eat it so much... um thanks? haha :)BekahIf Work Permits
