    Thankful. So Very Thankful.

    November 22, 2012 |

I thought I would take a little moment to tell the internet (and you) how thankful I am. image

Thankful for my husband, who works hard without complaining, and listens to my complaining. 🙂 He works hard both at work and while he’s at home helping out and finishing projects. Thankful for a great father, a wonderful husband, and a great role model. Thankful for his job. Thankful for his support.

Thankful for my little loves. Adam will be one the day after Christmas and I can’t imagine life without him! Lily, Ben, and Adam are amazing little people and I feel so blessed to be their mother. I am thankful for potty training, kids who say please and thank you, kids who eat their food, still come into my bed to snuggle, and love reading books and playing legos. 🙂

Thankful for my family. Thankful for Doug’s family. Thankful for my siblings. Thankful for my siblings-in-law.

Thankful for two working cars that have heat. Thankful for our garden, thankful for our food. Thankful for our home. Thankful for our wood floors. (Silly, I know, but I am thankful for them.) Thankful for my phone and instagram, which help me take more pictures and document our life.

    and finally,

I am thankful that I have been able to use this blog to bring in a bit of income for our family. Last year at this time, I was working outside of the home as a math tutor. I worked 5 nights a week, and most weeks, Saturday and Sunday. It was what we needed to do, it worked for us, we were still happy, but it is nice to be home and work just as hard doing what I love.

Thank you for being here, thank you for reading, and thank you for allowing me to be able to stay at home, because without your clicks, likes, and views, this may not be possible. 🙂

I am so very thankful, but also blessed. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
