Woo hoo, we’re at Day Two of this awesomeness!
Have you started making your drinks?
The link party will be up Friday night, can’t wait to see what you’ve got!

I’m SO EXCITED to tell you that one of my bloggy BFFs, Mandi from Tidbits from the Tremaynes, is here for Summer Drink Week to guest post and show us some yums! Take it away, Mandi…
Do you love a smoothie? I love a smoothie. But I don't love a smoothie where I'm drinking my daily intake of sugar, along with 500 calories, know what I'm sayin'? This is where my super healthy sister's bevi comes in: it's guilt free, baby. First: freeze your berries. That didn't come out right. Second: get this yogurt, right here:
Because Dannon promises your abdomen will look just like so if you do. All I know is, mine look just like that. Don't yours??
Third: freeze your bananas. That didn't come out right. I don't show my frozen bananas. Why? My kids suck down bananas like some people suck down spaghetti noodles. I josh not.
Fourth: your *skim* milk must be put in a cutsie vintage bottle. It's mandatory. Anywho, you're going to throw all this healthy deliciousness in at your choosing, and then you're gonna blend, baby. With the lid off. Like an idiot. A cute bevi glass and a straw later,
and you've got your afternoon, guiltless snack. And then go ahead and put a little whip cream on top for your little butt munches who are begging your food off ya, like usual.
Whip cream won't hurt them.

That looks delicious! Hmmm… I seriously think I’m going to whip one up right now before the kids wake up. Or maybe I’ll be nice and share, the blender will probably wake them up anyway. 😉
Thanks so much for coming over, Mandi!
I’m telling you, right now: go check out her blog. I promise you’ll be there for hours and you’ll want to comment on like every single post!

Mandi, sound great! I'll have to try it with frozen fruit since blueberries and bananas are my favorite, next to strawberries. I've certainly got plenty of cute vintage milk bottles to hold all the milk I'll need so that part of the direction will be easy 😉

Mandi, you nailed it on the frozen berries and bananas. When frozen it totally changes the consistancy of the shake to yummy creaminess!
