The forecast for next week’s weather makes me super excited.
Right now I’m sitting in my family room with the windows open and a sweatshirt on. Not sweating my brains out, not blasting the air and putting money in the pocket of the electric company.
Enjoying the loveliness that is a night-time low of 50 or so. 🙂
But this wasn’t a post about weather, so I guess I’ll move on. But it’s not really a post about anything, so I guess I don’t haaave to move on. 😉
I can’t sleep. I don’t know why. I worked 9am to 12:30pm, spent a total of 2.5 hours in the car, worked again from 5:30-8:00pm. I’m tired, I’m sore, but I’m laying in bed and mind is sitting there thinking
or thinking about bedroom ideas
or thinking
cause that always helps. Or makes me tired. Pshaw, whatever. I have NO work tomorrow, a gallon of no-VOC paint, and that shelf will be done by the end of the day. Can’t wait. 🙂
But for now
and also a little bit cranky. Why do I fall asleep while watching Seinfeld from 9pm to 10pm, but I can’t fall asleep when I get into my comfy, cozy bed 5 minutes later?
I should go see if we have any pretzels. Let me know if someone calls asking for Vandelay Industries.
My parents celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last Monday, the 1st!
We celebrated by going to Buca di Beppo, one of our favorite restaurants.
(Yes, that is the Pope on our table.)
I worked a lot last week, we visited with family a few days, visited my cousin and her kids another day, went to the zoo on Friday. It was a crazy, but fun week!
At least I thought they had fun, they look pretty bored out of there minds here, lol.
Now that I’m looking through my SD card, it might be a good time to tell you that Doug totally fixed our car last week. The car broke down while he was on his way to work, we ended up havign to get it towed back to our house.
The fuel injectors needed to be replaced, it would have cost close to $1000 to have it fixed. Yikes.
But he ordered the parts online, spent many hours working on it after he’d get home from work, and saved us about $850!!! I’m so impressed and thankful, that project and topic deserve a post of their own.
If Ben had longer hair, he’d totally be Dwight for Halloween
