Lazy Week

May 20, 2011 |

This past has been a lazy week for us. We had the kids’ birthday party last Saturday (Lily is 2, Ben will be 1) and it was a blast!

Lots of good food, my mom made Cat in the Hat jello using red and white jello. We had bbq pulled chicken, mostacholi, hot dogs, ravioli, and italian sausage. I wish I still had leftovers.. 😉

I made the kids Thing 1 and Thing 2-esque shirts using the numbers for their age. I used Walmart t-shirts, a seam ripper for the pocket, some muslin, wonder under, sewing machine, and a sharpie, took me all of 30 min.

Of course you don’t get any magazine worthy pictures, most of these were taken quickly. Most of them were taken from my friend’s camera. How does that happen? I hate that I can’t remember to take pictures during a party…

The garage was cute and decorated, but it was too cold to sit out there (unless you were a guy, they were out there all day)

“Some body please play with us!” said the toys

There was a lot of playing going on inside though

Looks like I’m bossing someone around over to the right, lol.

I’m still enjoying a clean family room (that is my mom waving 🙂 )

I think I’ll go take a nap while the kids are finishing up theirs… ya know, keep this laziness going 😉

thanks for reading our feed, please stop by the house for a visit sometime soon. 🙂
