I’ve been cleaning out my hard drive and backing up my photos, and in the midst of doing so, I’ve found some great pics from
SUMMER and our early HOME RENOVATION
So while I’m feeling nostalgic, prepare for some posts regarding those two sweet, sweet topics. 🙂

I know ya’ll know how to make shish-ka-bobs… but these looked SO good
I marinated the beef? Is that beef? Well we shall see… Whatever it is I marinated it in Trader Joe’s Island Soyaki sauce. YUM.
I’m guessing I soaked the bamboo skewers too, you want to do that for about 15-20 minutes so they don’t catch on fire.
I must have worked on Lily and Ben’s closet while Doug was grilling cause this pic was next…
And here they are assembled… Beef? Pork? Your guess? (they were in marinade all day) I’m guessing Doug took this, hence the up-close flash.
Oh geez. I don’t have an after picture. I’m guessing they were really good, so good I realized after I finished eating… Well there goes this post.
Here’s a picture of a bonfire we had that night, does that make it any better?
So soak your skewers, marinate your meat (I think it’s beef), and don’t forget to take pictures after they are done cooking.
Fresh homegrown produce, grilling… yum. I can’t WAIT for summer!
