The “big game” is fast approaching, and if your family is anything like mine, with it comes a big party with tons of yummy appetizers. (Forget the commercials, the food is the best part!)
One of my favorites is Buffalo Ranch Wing Dip and while there's many different ways to make it, I wanted to put my own twist on the recipe. I added sriracha and ranch instead of just hot sauce and ahhhh, yum!
The measurements below are for a medium heat dip, use more or less depending on how spicy you like things.
Buffalo Ranch Wing Dip (medium heat)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 stick of butter, melted
3 T buffalo hot sauce
2 T Sriracha hot sauce
¼ cup ranch dressing
2 cups cheddar cheese
1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded
Mix cream cheese, melted butter, buffalo sauce, Sriracha, and ranch together in a food processor or mixer until well combined. Pour into a bowl. Lightly stir in chicken breast and as much cheese as desired. Top dip with remaining cheese (and a bit of chicken for garnish if you’re a blogger).
Put away into a sealable Rubbermaid glass container, heat just before serving. Can be made and stored overnight.
I like glass containers with tops because they can go from the fridge to the car to the oven to the fridge, to the oven again for reheating.
