This Fixture is Driving Me Nuts

I couldn’t take it anymore.

I’m not waiting to patch and paint the hallway.

I’m not waiting till I decide whether or not to paint the 4 doors, tons of trim, and built-in linen closet that is my hallway.

This fixture is driving me nuts.

(just like these pretzels are making me thirsty!)

The yellow light and brassiness that is my current light fixture. It’s gross.

So I sucked it up and figured I would do it myself, electric wiring without Doug? I can do this. I even have the vacuum ready.

Because I didn’t have the vacuum ready when I took off the glass, and about 30 dead lady bugs made it rain (and made me scream).

So here I was, being ever so careful to hold onto the brass-light-bulb holder part upright, so that rain rain would go away…

and I TOTALLY paid NO attention to where one of the screws fell.

Dang it! I even took a picture with flash to try and find it, to no avail.

Miss Black Bean Beard needed my attention,

and was getting mad at her beans, so I stepped away to clean her up.

And now it’s dark and I can’t find my screw. My screw was loose and I lost it.
